YCC Impact Award
Youth Counseling Connection was excited to host our inaugural Impact Award celebration. YCC decided that we wanted to find a way to honor those in our community that either work directly with, or act as advocates for, youth mental wellness. Valerie Viscosi, Director of Counseling for Lexington Public Schools, was an easy decision for who to honor with this first award. The room was buzzing with many LPS staff and supporters to honor the work that not only Val strive to provide, but her entire team. YCC Board members and staff discussed the history of YCC and impact that the schools and Val have had on our growth. One of our Youth Board members presented about her experience and passion for teen mental health. We heard from Stacy Glickman and many other LPS staff as they shared their appreciation of Val's leadership. We are so proud to honor the work you do, Val!
